What distinguishes zoos and public parks so significantly that it justifies keeping them closed whilst the latter are open? Not enough, the operators reckon.
Note: There are good reasons to open zoos again – and it is possible to do so safely.
However, opening them alone is not enough:
Lockdown has caused huge damages and it is now up to the politicians who approved it to repair de damages quickly and sustainably.
