Alaska SeaLife Center On the Brink of Closing Down

The consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown could force the Alaska SeaLife Center to shut down. It is the only aquarium and rehabilitation centre in Alaska.

Note: The Alaska SeaLife Center is an accredited zoological facility and is in no way connected to the “Sea Life” aquariums of the Merlin Entertainments Group. In contrast, the Alaska SeaLife Center is run by a private, non-profit society.
