A study is urging to bridge the research gap between live collections in zoos and the preserved collections in natural history museums.
Note: One institution that is already succeeding at this is located in Düsseldorf – hence the cover picture. At the Aquazoo Loebbecke Museum, zoo, aquarium and museum form a valuable symbiosis.
This is also an excellent way to convey conservation topics.
