For 30 years, there were no Javan warty pigs in the Baluran National Park. Copenhagen Zoo has now been able to reintroduce these endangered animals there.

This reintroduction is key for the conservation of Javan warty pigs. This success would not have been possible without keeping the animals in zoos.
