Vietnam pheasants on their way home!

Vietnam pheasants, which have been extinct in the wild since 2000, can now set out on their journey back to nature thanks to conservation breeding in zoos.

Note: Zoos that are members of the EAZA, but also those that support the conservation breeding project without being members, will soon be able to claim that they have saved another species from extinction if the project continues to be as successful as it is now. We will be dedicating a video to the species in the upcoming weeks, which will be published on our YouTube channel.
