Note: Naturally these are not all supporters and the list is not comprehensive, as thousands of helpers of all kinds and sizes contacted Krefeld Zoo. Such solidarity in the zoo community is extremely important and it outnumbered those people and organisations, who used this terrible event to make their mark in the media through presumptuousness, despite in some cases having below-average great ape-husbandries themselves, or supporting more than questionable ones.
