Chester Zoo has made history by becoming the first to breed the rare Coquerel’s sifaka. It is a great success in the conservation and rescue of the species.

Even experienced conservationists are thrilled about the husbandry of this species.

Now, of course, we are all crossing our fingers for there to be similar successes in the other facilities keeping the species.
