The zoo in San Diego announced, that it will return its famous giant pandas back to China, and thus sadly end their stay at the zoo. In the article, the author thanks the zoo, for its exceptional and important dedication to wildlife conservation.
Note: Thanks to the Panda Project – and to the dedication of many zoos worldwide – the giant pandas are no longer as threatened, as they once were. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for their relatives, the red pandas, and zoos worldwide continuously work on their protection.
