A female from Nuremberg and a male from Berlin have found one another in Wuppertal Green Zoo. As a couple, they will now contribute to the European Ex-Situ Programme (EEP) for hyacinth macaws.
Note: Zoos.media has often shared impressions from the new facility Aralandia. Therefore, this first matchmaking success is of course wonderful news. It shows once more that the facility is working well. We have created a playlist about it on our YouTube channel:
