Chester Zoo has made history by becoming the first to breed the rare Coquerel’s sifaka. It is a great success in the conservation and rescue of the species.
Three years after the devastating fire in Krefeld Zoo‘s ape house, the city’s council has released the first contribution of 13,3 million euros for the planned conservation centre Ape Park.

The hyacinth macaws at Krefeld Zoo have had offspring again. The young bird is developing splendidly and will soon move into Aralandia at Wuppertal Green Zoo.
